Rainy Days

Rainy Days in my memory are mostly centered around hot chocolate.

After hours of play in which we made sure were were thourghly soaked and "freezing" before giving in to the cold and heading home or we were summoned by the buzzer - more on that one later.

After drying out a bit and "bundling" up in warm clothes (shorts and a sweatshirt) we got to "warm up" with hot chocolate. Sometimes Dad would share his apple cider with us. But the HC was the best because it had the marshmellows.
