Change

So much of life in Haiti has changed and it will never go back to the way it was. In some ways this is good. Life was very hard in Haiti for most people. The earthquake may be the catalyst to getting the country on a forward moving track instead of backward.

The bible school building will have to come down. So many memories I have of that building.

  • Helping Mom in her various offices
  • sorting mail in the mailroom
  • the big Haiti map on the wall (will add a picture this weekend)
  • helping in the CTD office
  • collating in the chapel and classrooms with Uncle Dave Muchmore's awesome mechanical table
  • Seeing Dad study at his office upstairs and downstairs
  • chatting with the receptionist in the lobby
  • my first camp victory was when we stayed in the dorms (lower level of the building, boys in one wing, girls in the other). John Berger was the Pirate!! What a fun year that was!
